About the Civitas System
Is CivitasIAS a test series or a course?
CivitasIAS is neither a conventional test series nor a course. It is a decision-conditioning system.
Is Civitas an LMS with video lectures?
No. Civitas does not provide video lectures or recorded classes.
What does “Decision Training Program (DTP)” mean?
It refers to training how decisions are made under exam pressure, not just testing knowledge.
Is Civitas focused on marks?
No. Marks are secondary indicators. The primary focus is decision quality.
Can Civitas replace self-study or coaching?
No. Civitas complements self-study and coaching.
Tests & Attempts
Are test dates fixed?
Yes. Tests follow a predefined schedule.
What happens if I miss a test?
The missed test is not compensated for.
Can I attempt tests later?
Late attempts are restricted or limited depending on the program.
Are all tests compulsory?
No, but skipping tests weakens the system’s effectiveness.
Are tests full-length?
Most tests are partial-length and focused.
OMR, Submission & Evaluation
How do I submit my OMR?
OMR submission is done through the Civitas system as instructed.
Can I submit OMR more than once?
No. Only the first valid submission is evaluated.
What if I make a mistake in OMR?
Incorrect marking is treated as an incorrect response.
Is evaluation manual?
Evaluation is automated based on predefined answer keys.
Can I edit my submission later?
No. Submissions are final once evaluated.
Analytics & Scores
Do you provide ranks or percentiles?
No. Civitas does not provide ranks or percentiles.
How should analytics be used?
As diagnostic tools to identify decision patterns and mistakes.
Can I compare my performance with others?
No. Peer comparison is intentionally avoided.
Do analytics predict prelims results?
No. They are not predictive guarantees.
Online & Offline Mode
What is offline (library-based) mode?
Tests are attempted at designated partner libraries.
Are online and offline papers different?
No. The test content remains the same.
Can I switch modes?
Mode changes may be allowed subject to feasibility.
Access, Validity & Policies
Is Civitas access transferable?
No. Access is non-transferable.
Is there a refund policy?
Refund policies, if any, are declared at the time of purchase.
What if I don’t attempt tests after purchasing?
Non-participation does not entitle extensions or refunds.
Does Civitas guarantee selection?
No. Civitas does not guarantee selection.
