Important Notes Regarding Test Schedule

1. Each test will comprise of 46 questions (30 from GS and 16 from CSAT)

2. Each Revision Test will consist of 50 questions exclusively from GS Papers, drawn from the topics that have already been completed in the schedule.

CSAT questions will not be included in Revision Tests.

3. This schedule is provisional, flexible, and directive in intent, not restrictive. It serves as a structured roadmap to guide preparation, while allowing intellectual adaptability.

4. While most questions will adhere to the notified syllabus coverage, select questions may deliberately fall outside the immediate scope.

This is done to:

  • Develop exam temperament and adaptability
  • Train candidates to handle unfamiliar yet relevant dimensions
  • Enhance conceptual transfer ability rather than rote dependency
  • Simulate the real UPSC environment, where boundaries are often blurred

5. The primary goal is not mere syllabus completion, but:

  • Building analytical aptitude
  • Strengthening elimination skills
  • Encouraging interdisciplinary thinking
  • Reducing dependency on predictable patterns

6. Any question beyond the immediate scope will always remain:

  • Conceptually justifiable
  • Pedagogically valuable
  • Relevant to the larger UPSC preparation ecosystem
